Varsity Basketball Is Excited To Follow Up A Playoff Run

Cobras Boys Varsity Basketball Team to Compete at Beth Tfiloh’s Weiner Varsity Basketball Tournament

The Cobras will board a bus Wednesday mourning and travel to Baltimore Maryland to compete in the Weiner tournament on the campus of Beth Tfiloh through Saturday evening. After a long, traffic filled bus ride to Midwood Brooklyn Monday night, the Kushner Cobras shook off the rust and a lethargic start to defeat ShaareTorah 54-46. The Cobras trailing by 5 after the first and 6 into the locker room despite junior Sam Bernstein scoring 8 of his 10 points in the second period.

Kushner Varsity Basketball “Adopts” new teamate

As his name was announced, nine-year-old Lucas Reiling zoomed in his wheelchair through two lines of Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School varsity basketball players, who high-fived him as he passed. Reiling, of New Providence, was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was 23 months old. The basketball team “adopted” Lucas through Friends of Jaclyn, a
