Girl’s Swimming Makes a Splash

Kushner girls swim team had their first win of the season.  Facing tough competition against Maayanot, Kushner pulled ahead with the final score of 59-36.

The meet took off to a great start with a 100 IM, having split the scores between the two teams.  Maayanot scored 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the 25 Free and Back taking the lead for the first part of the meet.  Kushner pulled ahead by winning the 25 breast and 25 fly events.

There were a lot of stand out moments for Kushner.   Ameerah Ali, Abby Stein, Cecilia Ashenberg, Hannah Mamet, and Maya Minsky were the top scorers for the girls’ team. With the season now going full speed ahead Kushner is now looking to keep improving and working hard.
